Thai medals are separated into two groups, the incredibly cool and the incredibly tacky. This is one of the latter.
Made from some kind of gilt bunt metal this medal is awarded to all personnel serving in Thailand’s Customs and Border Protection. This medal is current and was also awarded for service during WW2.
