I don’t know why except perhaps they were all successful and fought at the winning end of WW2.
The Burma Star Association is a comradeship and welfare organization formed in 1951 and composed almost exclusively of veterans of the campaign in Burma in WW2. In fact to join one must have been awarded the Burma Star. The organization is led by the son of General William Slim, the commander of that campaign. This is an obviously used blazer patch for this organization.
